Official Statement from the e-Gamer Girls Club

Dear e-Gamers,

Last November 2009, the e-Gamer Girls Club called for a meeting regarding CM Mei Yan’s Proposal concerning the eGamer Girls Christmas Party for 2009. Allow me to stress out that this is the first time that our club celebrated such an event that is exclusive to the members of our club—the e-Gamer Girls.. The result of our previous club activity which is the Online Survey showed that many girls wanted to have a ”get-together” party, mainly dedicated to our fellow members in order to empower the feminine spirit in gaming community.

As a response, we gave them an exciting feedback, and that is, to have a year-end celebration which is the e-Gamer Girls Christmas Party 2009.

However, during the meeting for the preparation of the party, we have also discussed everything regarding the status reports and plans for Road-to-Domination-IV. We had also entertained each member’s concern in-game, and most of all, causes of why some members are not active and not participating in some of our activities.

Though there has been preparations made, some loopholes could not be avoided due to the feeling of excitement we had. These loopholes are then exploited by those who share an affinity with us, but due to misleading details, this had produced something that should have appeared substantial but in reality, had just caused an ill discourse shambling our group’s high spirit and placed malice in our good intentions.

To further clarify certain points, a blog called back2gaming released an article entitled “E-gamer Girls Sanctioned for No-Show at X’mas Party” care of Mr. Vincent Haoson. But the article stating unconfirmed sanctions Mr. Haoson had placed in his blogs were misconstrued by the author, making people believe that such sanctions were placed upon members who failed to attend the party.

We would like to notify the public that our group did not implement the said sanctions on members who did not attend our Christmas party. Had there been any Official Sanctions approved by the Officials of e-Games Community, it would have been posted immediately on e-Gamer Girls’ Official Website and the group will be informed first hand by the company and not through blog-sites that are not in anyway affiliated with e-Games.

We sincerely apologize with the misunderstanding this had caused the public. If you have any concerns, please address it directly to us through our club’s president Camille aka “Zaytie”: egamergirlsclub@yahoo.com. In this way we would be able to make proper responses for any of your concerns.

Much love,

The e-Gamer Girls Club
