I was a member of an ALL Girl Gamers Club formed by our xGm Amethy/CM Jess called RANachix, 2 years ago. Eventually, the club was opened to other e-Games titles so that all girl gamers regardless of what game they play whether MMORPG or Casual games will have the opportunity to gather and bond with other girl gamers, thus Girl e-Gamers was born.

Unfortunately, CM Jess had to leave the e-Games community, and to continue what she started.. She turned over her position as Head of the Community Management to Ms. Ching Merano. CM Jess called for a meeting regarding to her exit from e-Games and also to formally introduce Ms. Ching Merano as the new head of the club. During the meeting, Ms. Ching, provided creative inputs as to how members can become active and feasible. And revised the club’s name and turned into E-gamer Girls Club.

We had a meeting together with the members of e-GG last February 2009, and from what I can remember GM Lowe (former CM of Audition PH) was also there and suggested a lot of things that can help the club. At that time, they implemented the nomination of officers to make the club more organized, and I was in fact voted as the President of the e-Gamer Girls Club. They trusted me since I once founded a club for CABAL Online PH which was called Cabal Girl Gamers Club.

They said that I have the potential to manage the e-Gamer Girls Community and trusted my credibility as a leader. And because of my love for the community and I was willing to help, I accepted the offer. To make the club more organized, we had to set some rules and regulations, and that was the e-Gamer Girls Club Constitution. CM Ching is the one who made the Constitution and she even said that we should give incentives to those who will join the club as a reward and recognition for being a true girl gamer of the e-Games Community.

Everything went fine, even the officers were thrilled and willing to help spread the word about e-Gamer Girls. Ms. Ching proposed as well that the Club must have a booth as presentation for Domination III last April 4,2009, to officially launch e-Gamer Girls Club to the whole community. And at that time, a lot of girls got interested to become a member of the club.

Girl gamer population suddenly rose and most of them became active members….

Eventually though, some of my officers got busy with school and family issues, that they had to stop. And I perfectly understood their situations and had to let them think of what is really important. And then, my Vice President became a GM of e-Games: GM Hope. Since then, I took every responsibility that was supposedly shared with my officers.

I attended some On-Ground Events that e-Games held, there were times that I was the only one managing the booth for e-GG, I knew that I can’t handle this alone, so most of the time I would ask help from our members who are still willing to coordinate with me… and thankfully, there are still those loyal girl members who are willing to give a helping hand. GM Hope never left me alone as well, even though she’s now a GM, she still let me know that somehow, I still have her back. But there were also issues that neither me or GM Hope can’t resolve, such as the incentives that each member should have received their In-Game Benefits when they first registered due to the fact that some only entered the club just to have In-Game Items. Monthly incentives were also taken out of the system. Community Managers of each e-Games Titles complained to me that there are too many members that they can’t accommodate all, and only those members who cooperate the Club Activities should be given incentives.

Unfair as it may sound, I had to do something that can motivate the girls, because I know that there are still girls who are willing to help. So in order to make everything clear and organized, I implemented monthly activities for those club members who are willing to participate, then, that’s the time that they’ll receive their benefits. At least with these activities, we all get what we want. For the club, we’d know who the active members are. For the girls, they get their in-game benefits. It’s a win win situation.

But then, there are always antagonists in the picture, just like any other soap opera, there were members who would just rub things at me, like the fact their “benefits” were delayed – how I wish that they’d understand that these are benefits – they should be happy they have the opportunity to have these items, rather than complain about it. why not do something productive? Anyway, this is way out of my hand, I had to forward each complain to GM Hope, then GM Hope will address it to CM Ching, then CM Ching will forward these complaints to the Product team. And yes, there are still Chain of Commands.

It’s hard for me being the mediator, I tried to be as calm as possible. I got tired of being yelled and cursed at, when in reality, I know that I can’t do anything for them, and I had to defend as well e-Games side. But even with all this, I kept the club alive because the bond between me and these girls are priceless. And losing one at a time was hurtful.

On the long run, I noticed that e-Games Community Team lost their support to the e-Gamer Girls Club. Even CM Ching left the Club without prior notice. It just still creeps on my mind the following questions:

Isn’t it that e-Games Community Team should help me to advertise that e-Gamer Girls Club Exists?
Isn’t it that they should help me promote and share the Club Activities I made?

They didn’t even bother to think that I am only an ordinary gamer like others do. I can’t do impossible things like superwoman.

What hurts most was that it felt like no one was helping the club out. Its as if, youre holding on to a thread of hope.

This really pisses me off! Even staff of e-Games made a project about girl gamers of their Community. I mean, like for example: In CABAL Online, they have their own so-called CABAL BABE of the MONTH. .. and take note! They don’t even have an AFFILIATION of e-GG. Is that a slap on my face? They made e-Gamer Girls Club on the first place!! But why do they need to separate their plans to ours? WTH!!!

As the Constitution states:

Section 2 – Concepts
1. E-GAMERGIRLS will act as a partner organization of E-Games in upholding girl power across the gaming community.“

See? e-Games itself kills their Community! It’s like making a baby and leaving that baby in the streets. Hoping that it would grow on its own. Like what they did to Zhu Xian Online PH.. Nothing lasts forever.

I am now putting down my position as the e-Gamer Girls Club President.
I know eGames wouldn’t care anymore.. but I want to rub on to their faces of what they had done to me!

Like what their EVENT Coordinator did.. Me and APM Bea discussed our plan for the upcoming event: R2D4 at SMX. I told her that e-GG will have a dance presentation. Then, she accepted my offer and promised that she will forward it to the Coordinator. I thought everything is ok coz the meeting was 1 month before the event.

Then, the time has come, my e-GG Dancers are already there, well-prepared and ready to present their dance to the community. APM Bea said, I should ask the event coordinator at the backstage so that I would know the time of our schedule.

I approached some GMs that I knew, and referred me to the Coordinator.. Wow! Omg! And the nerve! I simply asked properly on how to and “SHE” simply raised her eyebrows and turned her back without a single reply! My god, I was so embarrassed..

Sorry Girls…

I am putting down my position as an e-Gamer Girls Club President. Not all the time I should be patient and be blind of what’s happening around. I am not stupid.

This Club is fucking dead! e-Games itself ruined their relationship to us. I know myself, I did my part.

Don’t you know they are NOT WILLING to give Incentives ANYMORE? Coz they don’t receive any single money from the Club.

So, what’s happening to the Membership Fee?

All the money goes to the e-Gamer Girls Club Items: Membership PVC IDs. Printing Materials. T-Shirt. ID Lace. Button Pins. Website Layouting. Flyers. Stubs. Transportation. Labor. Food. Shipping the Items + Taxes. All of the those things came from my effort. Design. Concept. I do this all alone!

Plans for the Activities came from my brain. I also made a Database System to monitor the Membership Registrations through the use of programming. Do they care? No.

I even cut my class just to go to the shop where the merchandise done. Pick it up on time. Make a good deal. Sometimes, I used to spend my own money for the expenses.

They all want is money, they want something in return. If they don’t receive anything then, get lost! Who are you?!

I wish Community Team would be removed. Coz their project booms only from the start then, fades away. Sheeez. Projects are all SHORT TERM. They can’t manage and just leave it behind. Get mad at me? Fine.

I have now the reason to leave this Community. Online Games should be Online Games NOT FOR POLITICS.

I am one of their LOYAL e-Gamers. I promote their games to my friends, family, classmates and share at the Social Networking Sites. But now, I lost my loyalty to them.

Well… I’m not expecting anymore from e-Games. As if they gonna reply to this. The HELL they care?

Good Luck to all.

The online gaming community is not only for the male species. Sometimes, the girls try to make the gaming ground even.

Let’s face it — online games nowadays are not complete without a woman’s touch. And in some ways, these girl gamers are not only pretty faces, they are also existing as a functional part of the net society, contributing in many ways that men wouldn’t have thought of being possible.

Majority, if not most of the online gaming companies or organizations had men as the bulk and serve as the arms and brains behind almost everything. For a prestigious online gaming portal most of us know as MMOSite, it’s the other way around (no offense, dudes, you’re still helpful in every way <3).

MMOsite (http://www.mmosite.com) is an online gaming portal for most virtual games across the globe. It links players from different countries into a wide variety of games, whether MMO, casual or even browser games. They are also well-known for their up-to-date gaming news and promotion of almost every online game known to man. They have extended their field of service to more websites, such as BBGsite.com (a portal to browser games), Pandaapp.com (a site dedicated to phone software), and Arabmmo.com (for Arab users) and Espmmo.com (for Spanish users).

Little did most of us are aware of, the community team responsible for updates, contests and other web-related content in this convenient website, surprisingly, are consisting of females!

Here, we can get to know the members of MMOsite’s Community Team and what they have to say about online gaming, and the female gamer community. Let’s read what they have to say!

Introducing Nina and Duoery (read: Dolly Dory), news editors for MMOsite.

E: What is the main goal of MMOsite’s community team?

M: MMOsite’s community team has been pursuing the goal of (being) “No. 1,” that is, developing MMOsite as the most professional game community favored by all MMO gamers in the world. To satisfy every one of the MMOsite users, the team is making every possible effort!

E: What are the duties and responsibilities of the members of MMOsite’s community team?

M: MMOsite’s community team was formed to manage the MMOsite community, like improving and maintaining the forums, blogs, answer (queries), contests and iMMOsite sections; it holds various events for players, posts diversified articles, and opens up hot topics for players to discuss. The team strives to bring players a warm and popular game community, and allow all game fans to make more friends and dig out more excitement via MMOsite.

E: Any award received by MMOsite?

M: We didn’t receive any award, but we are striving for providing our enthusiastic users with better service. Their support and participation is our best prize.

Kazu from MMOsite Community Team (Pretty, right? ^^)

E: How many members of MMOsite’s community team are female?

M: There are four pretty girls in our team, and they all play an active role in our community work (she introduced themselves to us as ImeeChou, Maogu, Carolgarden and Kazu).

E: What good does the female-dominated team do?

M: Females are more careful, and more aware of the details. So, they are well received in the team. Accompanied by them, it seems our boys are more dedicated and encouraged. ^_^ And our girls all have their own mounts and pets, pretty cool, right? (I so agree! -Althaea)

E: What qualities should the girl, who works in MMOsite or somewhere like that, have?

M: First, she should have a super high APM (actions per minute), as well as excellent gaming control capacity and work capacity comparable to those of male fellows. Also, she has to be enthusiastic in games and prefer games to shopping like the boys.

E: What challenges does the girl working in the gaming industry have to face?

M: First, if she fights with a boy who has a higher APM than her in an MMO, that’ll surely be a big headache!

The sense of direction is another challenge. For a professional female game worker, it may be a great shame if she usually feels dizzy and cannot determine the direction in the game.

E: How do you think females can affect the game community?

M: What will you think if you surprisingly find that the in-game team you join has a female member? Excited, right? Similarly, working with girls is also great fun for us. But I insist they can bring the game community much more, e.g. females’ general attitude to and understanding about the games. Girls usually pay more attention to and understand more about the cute-style games, so they can well complement the boys to get a more objective view of the overall game industry.

E: What is MMOsite’s message to the e-Games female players?

M: It’s MMOsite’s pleasure to serve as your “boyfriend” or best friend in the game.

A pretty neat group, don’t you think girls? ^^

What’s even surprising is that this awesome team is now in partnership with e-Gamer Girls! We’re very honored and grateful to be a good partners with such awe-inspiring yet humble group.

And that wraps up our MMOsite feature! I hope you guys will also support their sites the way you support our own club. Girl power FTW!

Last March 13, 2010, the e-Gamer Girls Club held a meeting at e-Games Office for the preparation of e-Games’ Domination IV this coming April 2010. However, one of the agenda being discussed is the Amendment of Club’s Constitution. The rules and regulations are modified and updated in an effort to improve and to assure that the Club will be more effective and active. Changes have been made this year based on responses to questions, issues that may have arisen, and feedback provided by Members, e-Games Staff and other gamers.

Some of these changes are significant while others are minor edits in language. The intent of the significant changes is to impose new set of rules, encourage members to be more active and create a lively e-Games Community especially for the Girl Gamers. The minor edits are primarily for clarification purposes.

The following is a list of the MAJOR changes to the Constitution (as compared to the 2009 Constitution):

Article 1 – NAME

We removed the Monthly benefits due to the experience we encountered upon distributing the item. e-Games Staff also said that they will only give the items to the members who only participate and give contribution to the Club.

The e-Gamer Girls Constitution serves multiple purposes – it provides the specifications that the girl gamers need to meet the following conditions before their membership become official, it provides fair distribution of their benefits and it serves as a guide to moderate member’s status.

Every effort has been made to provide clear communication of the constitution. Incoming and Official Members are advised to read the constitution carefully.

The e-Gamer Girls Club will provide clarifications as needed. Questions regarding to the amendments, please contact us to the following addresses:
